CWMA Interns participate in Natural Areas Conference

Mame Redwood and Derek Evans, interns with the River to River Cooperative Weed Management Area, attended the Natural Areas Association annual conference in Vancouver, Washington this fall.  Both Mame and Derek presented a poster on the research they accomplished working with the CWMA. This internship is part of a larger project with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, Southern Illinois University, Illinois Nature Preserves Commision, the Natural Areas Association, and the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation.  Overall, six interns from Illinois participated in the program this year.
